Delivery times are estimates and begin after your order has been processed and dispatched. Business days exclude weekends and statutory holidays.
4. Free Shipping Thresholds
Madhatters offers free standard shipping on qualifying orders:
Free shipping is automatically applied at checkout when your cart reaches the qualifying threshold. Sale items, taxes, and gift cards do not count toward the threshold. Free shipping applies to standard delivery only — expedited or express upgrades will be charged accordingly.
5. Order Processing

Orders placed after 12:00 PM local time or on weekends/holidays will begin processing the next business day.
6. Damaged or Lost Packages
Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, please take the following steps within 48 hours of delivery:
We will assess the damage and offer a replacement or refund — whichever best resolves your situation. Do not discard the packaging or product before contacting us, as it may be required for a carrier claim.
Lost Packages
A package is considered lost if it has not moved in the carrier's tracking system for more than:

Incorrect Address
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. Madhatters is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrectly provided address. If you catch an error, contact us immediately at aobeirne@madhatters.com — we can update the address if your order hasn't shipped yet.
7. Duties, Taxes & Customs
Canadian Orders: Applicable GST/HST/PST will be calculated and displayed at checkout. No surprise fees at the door.
U.S. Orders: Madhatters ships from Canada. U.S. orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes collected by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in your order or shipping total.
